Education & Outreach

Hospice Volunteers Services is a free community resource. We strive to provide an informative forum on cultural attitudes about death and grief.  Below is a partial listing of the education and outreach activities we offer: 

 

  • Hospice and bereavement trainings

  • An extensive lending library of books, tapes and videos
  • Distribution of resource materials upon request
  • Speaking engagements to local businesses, agencies, and organizations
  • In-service and training opportunities specific to HVS volunteers
  • Community newsletters published seasonally and available online
